Instructions

Preheat & Prep

  • Heat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.

Arrange Chicken

  • Place chicken breasts in a single layer in the dish.
  • Season both sides with salt and pepper if desired.

Create Sour Cream Mix

  • In a bowl, stir together sour cream, ½ cup Parmesan cheese, cornstarch, oregano, garlic powder, plus salt and pepper.
  • Mix until smooth.

Layer Cheese & Sauce

  • Top each chicken breast with a slice of mozzarella cheese.
  • Spread the sour cream mixture evenly over the mozzarella.
  • Sprinkle remaining Parmesan on top.

Bake

  • Bake uncovered for about 60 minutes, or until the internal temperature of chicken reaches 165°F (74°C) and cheese is golden.
