Ingredients

  • 2 c Rice Chex cereal
  • 2 c plain Cheerios
  • 2 c mini pretzels
  • 2 c M&M’s
  • 1 to 2 c peanuts salted or unsalted
  • 1 package white almond bark 24 oz

Instructions

  • Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the Rice Chex cereal, plain Cheerios, mini pretzels, M&M’s, and peanuts.
  • Stir gently to distribute the ingredients evenly.
  • Break the white almond bark into small pieces.
  • Place the almond bark pieces in a medium saucepan over low heat.
  • Stir continuously until the almond bark is fully melted and smooth.
  • Remove the melted almond bark from the heat.
  • Pour the melted almond bark over the cereal, pretzel, candy, and peanut mixture.
  • Stir gently until all ingredients are evenly coated.
  • Transfer the coated mixture to the prepared baking sheet.
  • Spread the mixture into an even layer.
  • Allow the mixture to cool completely until the almond bark is fully set.
  • Once firm, break the mixture into pieces or clusters.
  • Serve immediately or store in an airtight container.

Notes

To make this White Trash Recipe gluten free, use certified gluten-free Rice Chex and gluten-free pretzels.
