Ingredients

  • 16 slices white bread crusts removed
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 3/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 3/4 cup butter melted

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Place the softened cream cheese in a medium mixing bowl.
  • Add the powdered sugar to the cream cheese.
  • Beat until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
  • In a separate shallow bowl, combine the granulated sugar and ground cinnamon.
  • Stir until the cinnamon is evenly distributed throughout the sugar.
  • Pour the melted butter into a third shallow bowl.
  • Remove the crusts from each slice of white bread.
  • Flatten each slice of bread with a rolling pin.
  • Spread an even layer of the cream cheese mixture over each flattened bread slice.
  • Roll each slice of bread tightly into a stick shape.
  • Dip each rolled bread stick into the melted butter, coating all sides.
  • Roll each butter-coated stick in the cinnamon sugar mixture until fully coated.
  • Arrange the coated rolls on the prepared baking sheet, placing them seam-side down.
  • Leave a small amount of space between each roll to allow even baking.
  • Bake for 20 minutes, or until the cinnamon sticks are golden and crisp.
  • Remove the baking sheet from the oven.
  • Allow the cinnamon sticks to cool for several minutes before serving.
  • Serve warm.
