Notes

Craving these bars. Need a gluten-free alternative? Don't worry! You can still savor the flavor and texture with a few simple changes. First substitute the all-purpose flour with your gluten-free flour blend – one that's specifically made for a 1:1 replacement works, like magic. Next make sure your rolled oats are certified as gluten-free. While oats themselves don't contain gluten they often come into contact, with grains that do during processing so it's important to check. With these adjustments you'll end up with a batch of Oatmeal Cookie Bars that's gluten-free and just as comforting and gratifying as the original version.
