Ingredients

  • 4 –6 6-inch flour tortillas
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 2 jalapeño peppers seeded, membranes removed, finely chopped
  • 1 cup cooked bacon crumbled
  • Pinch of garlic salt or garlic powder
  • 2 –3 green onions finely chopped
  • 2 cups pepper jack cheese shredded

Instructions

Prepare the Filling

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, finely chopped jalapeños, crumbled bacon, and garlic seasoning. Mix thoroughly until evenly incorporated.

Add Cheese and Green Onions

  • Fold in the shredded pepper jack cheese and chopped green onions. Stir until the mixture is well blended.

Spread the Filling

  • Lay a tortilla flat on a clean surface. Spread an even layer of the cream cheese mixture over the entire tortilla, ensuring full coverage to the edges.

Roll the Tortillas

  • Roll the tortilla tightly into a log, pressing gently to secure. Place seam-side down on a plate. Repeat with the remaining tortillas.

Chill

  • Cover and refrigerate the rolled tortillas for at least 30 minutes to allow the filling to firm up.

Slice and Serve

  • Remove from the refrigerator and slice into ½- to ¾-inch rounds. Arrange on a serving platter and garnish with additional green onions and crumbled bacon if desired.
