Jalapeño Tortilla Roll Ups are made with flour tortillas filled with cream cheese, jalapeños, bacon, green onions, and pepper jack cheese, then chilled and sliced into flavorful bite-sized appetizers.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, finely chopped jalapeños, crumbled bacon, and garlic seasoning. Mix thoroughly until evenly incorporated.
Add Cheese and Green Onions
Fold in the shredded pepper jack cheese and chopped green onions. Stir until the mixture is well blended.
Spread the Filling
Lay a tortilla flat on a clean surface. Spread an even layer of the cream cheese mixture over the entire tortilla, ensuring full coverage to the edges.
Roll the Tortillas
Roll the tortilla tightly into a log, pressing gently to secure. Place seam-side down on a plate. Repeat with the remaining tortillas.
Chill
Cover and refrigerate the rolled tortillas for at least 30 minutes to allow the filling to firm up.
Slice and Serve
Remove from the refrigerator and slice into ½- to ¾-inch rounds. Arrange on a serving platter and garnish with additional green onions and crumbled bacon if desired.
Notes
To make Jalapeño Tortilla Roll Ups gluten-free, substitute the flour tortillas with certified gluten-free tortillas. Additionally, verify that the bacon, cheese, and seasoning are labeled gluten-free to prevent cross-contamination.
