Ingredients

  • Chocolate syrup for rimming the glasses
  • Crushed peppermint candies for the rim
  • 1 ¼ cups milk
  • ¼ cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 tablespoons chocolate syrup
  • ¼ teaspoon peppermint extract
  • Optional garnish: candy canes, whipped cream, chocolate shavings, chocolate cold foam, or crushed peppermint candies

Instructions

Prepare the glass rims.

  • Pour a small amount of chocolate syrup onto a shallow plate, forming a thin ring. Place the crushed peppermint candies on a separate shallow plate. Dip the rim of each serving glass into the chocolate syrup, then into the crushed peppermint candies to coat evenly. Place the prepared glasses in the refrigerator to chill while preparing the drink.

Blend the mocktail mixture.

  • In a blender, combine the milk, sweetened condensed milk, chocolate syrup, and peppermint extract. Blend for several seconds until the mixture is smooth and fully incorporated.

Chill the beverage (optional).

  • For a colder and more refreshing drink, transfer the blended mixture to the refrigerator and chill for 20–30 minutes prior to serving. This step is optional but recommended for optimal flavor and texture.

Assemble the mocktails.

  • Remove the chilled glasses from the refrigerator and carefully pour the chocolate peppermint mixture into each glass.

Garnish and serve.

  • Add optional garnishes such as whipped cream, chocolate shavings, or a mini candy cane. Serve immediately for the best taste and presentation.
