Ingredients

  • 1 refrigerated pizza crust
  • 4 bun-length hot dogs
  • 4 cheddar cheese sticks
  • 1 can hot dog chili sauce
  • 2 tbsp butter melted
  • Garlic powder to taste
  • Fresh chopped parsley to taste

Instructions

Preheat the oven.

  • Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.

Heat the chili sauce.

  • Place the hot dog chili sauce in a microwave-safe bowl and heat until hot.

Prepare the baking dish.

  • Spread the hot chili sauce in an even layer in the bottom of a 9x9-inch baking dish.

Prepare the dough.

  • Open the refrigerated pizza dough and roll it out flat on a clean work surface.

Divide the dough.

  • Cut the dough into 4 equal portions large enough to wrap each hot dog and cheese stick.

Assemble the rolls.

  • Place 1 hot dog and 1 cheddar cheese stick in the center of each portion of dough. Fold the ends of the dough inward, then roll the dough around the hot dog and cheese stick until enclosed.

Arrange in the baking dish.

  • Place the wrapped hot dogs into the baking dish on top of the chili sauce.

Bake.

  • Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the dough is cooked through and golden brown on top.

Finish the tops.

  • Remove the dish from the oven and brush the tops with melted butter.

Garnish and serve.

  • Season with garlic powder and fresh chopped parsley to taste before serving.
