Ingredients

  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 2 bunches fresh asparagus trimmed
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 2 cups shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish, if desired.
  • Pour the heavy whipping cream evenly into the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
  • Arrange the asparagus in a single layer over the cream. Season evenly with salt and black pepper.
  • Sprinkle the shredded Monterey Jack cheese evenly over the asparagus, followed by the grated Parmesan cheese.
  • Bake uncovered for 15–20 minutes, or until the cheese is fully melted, bubbling, and lightly golden, and the asparagus is tender when pierced with a fork.
  • Remove from the oven and allow the dish to rest for 2–3 minutes before serving.
