Place the ground beef and diced onion in a large saucepan or soup pot over medium-high heat.
Cook, stirring occasionally, until the ground beef is fully browned and the onion has softened.
Break the beef into small crumbles as it cooks to ensure even texture throughout the soup.
Drain any excess grease from the pot.
Add the beef broth to the cooked beef and onion mixture.
Stir in the diced tomatoes, tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, dried oregano, dried basil, salt, and ground black pepper.
Stir well until the tomato paste is fully incorporated into the broth.
Bring the soup mixture to a boil.
Add the uncooked elbow macaroni and frozen mixed vegetables to the pot.
Stir to combine.
Reduce the heat to medium-low.
Cover the pot with a lid.
Simmer the soup until the macaroni is cooked to the desired tenderness, stirring occasionally to prevent the pasta from sticking to the bottom of the pot.
Taste the soup and adjust the seasoning with additional salt and pepper, if needed.
Remove the soup from the heat.
Ladle the soup into serving bowls.
Garnish each serving with freshly chopped parsley.
Serve warm.
