Ingredients

  • 1 lb frozen green beans do not thaw
  • 1 tbsp oil such as olive oil, avocado oil, or vegetable oil
  • 1 tbsp everything but the bagel seasoning or seasoning of choice, to taste

Instructions

Prepare the green beans.

  • Place the frozen green beans in a large mixing bowl. Do not thaw the green beans before preparing the recipe.

Add the oil and seasoning.

  • Drizzle the oil over the frozen green beans. Sprinkle the everything but the bagel seasoning evenly over the top.

Toss to coat.

  • Toss the green beans thoroughly until they are evenly coated with the oil and seasoning.

Transfer to the air fryer.

  • Place the seasoned green beans in the air fryer basket. Arrange them in an even layer as much as possible. Work in batches if necessary to avoid overcrowding.

Air fry.

  • Cook at 400°F for 10 minutes, tossing the green beans halfway through the cooking time to promote even crisping.

Check for doneness.

  • The green beans are ready when they are crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. If needed, cook for an additional 1 to 2 minutes, depending on the air fryer and the thickness of the green beans.

Serve.

  • Remove the green beans from the air fryer and serve immediately while hot.

Notes

This recipe can be made gluten-free by using certified gluten-free frozen green beans, oil, and seasoning.
Check the label on everything but the bagel seasoning, as some seasoning blends may be processed in facilities that handle wheat or contain gluten-based additives.
If using a different seasoning blend, confirm that it is certified gluten-free or clearly labeled gluten-free.
Use plain frozen green beans without sauces, coatings, or added seasonings unless they are verified gluten-free.
Prepare the recipe with clean bowls, utensils, and air fryer equipment to avoid cross-contamination, especially when cooking for someone with celiac disease or gluten sensitivity.
