Ingredients

  • 1 9 x13 brownie recipe homemade, boxed mix, or gluten-free brownies

Turtle Topping:

  • 11 ounces oz bag of caramels, unwrapped
  • 2 tablespoons tbsp milk
  • 1 ½ cups chopped pecans

Peanut Butter Topping:

  • 6 tablespoons tbsp butter, softened
  • ¾ cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 ½ cups powdered sugar
  • 1 ½ tablespoons tbsp milk

Chocolate Topping:

  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 ½ teaspoons tsp vegetable oil
  • Coarse sea salt or fleur de sel optional

Instructions

  • Start by baking your selected brownie recipe in a 9x13-inch pan according to the given instructions. Once done let them cool down.
  • Take a microwave bowl. Heat the caramels and milk together until the caramels are almost smooth. Add in the chopped pecans. Spread this turtle topping over the cooled brownies.
  • In a bowl combine softened butter, creamy peanut butter, powdered sugar and milk to create a peanut butter topping. Carefully spread this layer over the turtle topping.
  • Next melt sweet chocolate chips with some vegetable oil, in the microwave. Pour this chocolate layer over the peanut butter topping.
  • For a burst of flavor if you like, sprinkle some sea salt or fleur de sel on top of the chocolate layer.
